Weekend notes

OMG! WTF? SMH. Life has been so crazy lately that it's been hard to post! How was your weekend?
I had a pretty filled weekend. Believe it or not, I went to Art After Dark for the first time! I had heard that it was a pretty good party--always on the last Friday of the month at the Academy of Arts--but apparently this was the most crowded it had been. I guess the crowd's been building. Take a look!
This is just one section of the Academy of Arts.
Downtown was the food vendor, with trendy little plates.
A band was playing in another courtyard at the Academy.
I want to give a shout out to my cousin Marc Hino, whom I saw at Art After Dark with his fiancee Stephanie Ching! Congratulations on your engagement!
(Marc, I hope you're finally reading my blog!)
Oh, and if you got a hard copy of yesterday's Advertiser, you should have seen my niece Morgen in the Island Life section. She and I attended the grand opening of Aeropostale recently. We didn't know what to expect--thinking there might be a fashion show--but instead, as you can see, we made our own.
Cool, huh? And now you've met all of my nieces, too!

Nak I think she talking about "So Much More Hawaii" Shouldn't that be SMMH? It's about some mainland chefs and foodies going island hopping to check out our local cuisine.
But i still prefer to think SMH is "So Melissa's Hot"

Oh and I have always wanted to go to Art After Dark! I went once but there was some drama so I was in and out just like that!
